knitting needles and yarnJoin in the fun on Friday, May 17th at 1:30 pm in the North Channel Branch meeting room to try your hand at knitting, crocheting or other needle crafts.  Knitting needles, crochet hooks and plenty of yarn will be provided to experiment with, so come on in and try something new. 
Feel free to bring examples of projects you are working on. 

Scrapbooking with Mia this Saturday

scrapbookingAre you interested in putting together a scrapbook but not sure where to start? Looking for some new scrapbooking ideas? Come to our monthly Scrapbooking with Mia program. This program is held the 3rd Saturday of every month from 10 am - 3 pm. This month we will meet on Saturday, May 18th. Don't forget to bring your photos. See you there!

Wii Game Day

Calling all Teens and Tweens!  Assemble in the North Channel Branch Library meeting room, Wednesday, May 8, at 4:30 pm for Wii gaming and fun with friends.  Repeat, meet at 4:30 pm, May 8, in the meeting room for gaming and fun. Calling all teens and tweens!! It's time for Wii Game Day.

BABY TIME @ YOUR LIBRARY!

If you have little ones, join us for Baby Time each Thursday morning at 10:30 am. This short interactive program introduces board books to children. Plus we sing songs, dance and play with the parachute! Toward the end of the brief program, we open the toy box for fun time with educational toys, including building blocks. And we end each program with bubbles!! The babies love to watch the bubbles, try to touch them and pop them! Plus we now have  "Early Literacy" floor puzzles as well as "Sight and Sound Tubes" as a gift from the North Shore Rotary Club!
